Learning to say no
This will be the most important success strategy for staying in shape for some Jumpstarters.
When your habit is an automatic ‘Yes’ to requests on your time and effort, you can find yourself short on energy to look after your own eating, exercise and well being.

You care a lot, but what about you?
I know you give a lot, care a lot and may even feel selfish taking time to go for a walk, the gym or even get motivation from a Personal Trainer. But, maybe it’s time to take a step that will feel awkward, but by taking some time for yourself, will be energising.

Practice saying ‘No’
To get yourself primed and ready to say ‘No’ next time you are put on the spot, first decide what you will say ‘Yes’ to and what you will say ‘No’ to. Then, stand in front of the bathroom mirror and say, “No, I can’t…” with your own words like “…I am already committed at that time.”

Try it and you may free yourself up for a fantastic walk, run or relax when you need it.
