Tips to change your life
1. Exercise
Exercise will internally reduce cholesterol levels, improve your bone density, help reduce blood pressure, increase your bodies metabolism, decrease blood sugar levels, increase your bodies response to Insulin, decrease the risk of you being ill, and increase your self esteem. So, are you exercising?
2. Nutrition
Eat more legumes.
Lentils, chickpeas, kidney beans, 4-bean mixes, baked beans are packed full of fibre, vitamins and minerals. They are Low GI and provide a great source of protein, making you feel fuller for longer and assisting with weight control, and they are cheap! Add to meat dishes to reduce quantity of meat (e.g. stews, soups, spaghetti mince, Mexican chilli, burritos, tacos etc), add to salads, make into rissoles/patties and freeze for quick healthy lunches.
3. General Life
Go out of your way to help someone each week. The power to help someone is always reflected back on how you feel about yourself.
4. Weekly Exercise Suggestion
Attached is a stretch routine for everyone to try at home. This week I would like you to try them every day unless they give you discomfort or cause you some pain. Stretch everyday this week to feel good.
